Menus for Dinners

One choice per section i.e one antipasti, one primo, one secondo and one dolce. There will also be a salad or vegetable dish to go with the Secondo which will be decided by the cook based on what other dishes are chosen.

Antipasti

  • Pappa di Pomodoro (bread and tomato soup)
  • Panzanella (Bread and Vegetable Salad)
  • Donzelle (lightly fried salty bread) with selection of sliced meats
  • Selection of Bruschetta/Crostini
  • Involtini of Zucchini with cheese and ham

Primi

  • Tagliolini Pasta with Sausage, Cream & Saffron Sauce
  • Pici Pasta all’Aglione con le briciole (hand rolled spaghetti) with garlic, tomato, chilli flakes and breadcrumbs
  • Ricotta Gnocchi with Caccio e Pepe (cheese & pepper) sauce
  • Maltagliati with Gorgonzola
  • Potato Gnocchi with Pesto
  • Risotto with Sausage & Mushrooms
  • Risotto with Zucchine, smoked ham and cheese

Secondi

  • Carrè di Miale – roast pork filled with spinach & prosciutto
  • Faraona (guinea fowl) with crostini
  • Involtini – chicken with prosciutto and sage, pan fried in white wine
  • Meatballs in tomato sauce
  • Involtini of Beef stuffed with zucchini

Dolci

  • Fresh fruit with chocolate sauce
  • Pineapple rose with yoghurt mousse
  • Chocolate tart
  • Tiramisù – Classic (Coffee/Chocolate)
  • Fruit Tiramisù
  • Zuccotto (made with fresh ricotta)
